Thrust ball bearing is separable including a shaft washer(fit with journal) a housing washer(fit
with bearing block)a group of steel balls and a cage which make it very convenient to fit with
journal and bearing block respectively.
Cages:
Cages of thrust ball bearing are pressed steel cages machined solid cages made of brass or bronze special fabric reinforced phenolic resin cages and etc.
Single direction thrust ball bearings
Single direction thrust ball bearings can only be used to carry axial load in one direction but radial loas.It can make an axial location in one direction.
Single direction thrust ball bearings  have planar housing washer and self-aligning seat washer. Generally planar housing washer can not allow any angular error; however when designing bracing structures a gap of 0.5~1mm between the outer diameter of housing washer and the fitting surface of bearing block can be kept out to correct the angular errors which would be made when mounting. Attention please aligning housing washer need to be ordered additionally.
Double-direction thrust ball bearings can carry axial loads in double directions but it can not carry radial load. Double-direction thrust ball bearings can make axial locations in two directions.

Tapered roller bearings

    Four-row tapered roller bearings are one of the mainly roll neck bearings and the capacity of their radial and axial loads is high. They can carry heavy axial loads in two directions, and their radial loads capacity is 3 times heavier than single-row tapered roller bearings. But the limiting speed is lower. They can be used as axial locating bearings in two directions because they are able to limit axial displacement in two directions within axial clearance. The radial and axial clearance also can be adjusted by changing the width of spacer between inner and outer rings.

Four-row tapered roller bearings are mainly used in working roll necks of hot or cold rolling mill, and roll neck of cogging mills. The radial and axial clearance can be adjusted by changing the spacer between the inner ring and outer ring.

Tapered roller bearings

Tapered roller bearings are the most basic and widely used tapered bearing .And they have tapered inner and outer ring raceways between which tapered rollers are arranged. This type of bearings is particularly suitable for carrying of combined (radial and axial) loads. The axial load carrying capacity of the bearings is largely determined by the contact angle; the larger contact angle, the higher the axial load carrying capacity.

It is usually fitted as one of an opposing pair. When assembled, single-row tapered roller bearings can be set to the required clearance or preload condition to optimize performance

Such bearings are mainly used in rear axle hubs of automotives, large machine tool spindles, large power decelerators, roller wheels of conveyor, etc

Full complement cylindrical roller bearings

Full complement cylindrical roller bearings have no cage and full of rollers, they can therefore carry very heavy radial loads. But, the high speed performance is worse compared with bearings with cage.
Full complement cylindrical roller bearings include single row Full complement cylindrical roller bearings( type NCF) and double row Full complement cylindrical roller bearings (type NNCF).


Type NCF
—- Full complement cylindrical roller bearings of NCF designs can carry axial loads in one direction and provide axial load location in one direction.
  Type NNCF
— Full complement cylindrical roller bearings of NNCF designs can carry axial loads in one direction and provide axial load location in one direction.
— can carry very heavily load with slow speed.
  Single and double rows open bearings are primarily used in general mechanical equipment required lower speed and heavy loads. Doule row closed bearings are generally used in wire rope pulleys of cranes.

They are mainly used in machine tools, rolling mill stands, plastic calenders, grinding mills and also large gearboxes.

Double row cylindrical roller bearings

Double row cylindrical roller bearings are separable bearings. All the bearing units can be separately. This makes it easier to mount and dismount.
Double row cylindrical roller bearings have two structures of cylindrical and tapered bore. They mainly have 2 types: NN designs and NNU designs. Type of NN design has inner ring with two ribs and outer ring without rib. Type NNU has outer ring with two ribs and inner ring without rib. When mounting bearings with tapered bore, it is possible to reach a certain radial internal clearance. These two types of bearings allow axial displacements between shaft and housing, and can be used as non-locating bearings.
Double row cylindrical roller bearings have high load-carrying ability and high stiffness. The bearings are especially used as main shaft bearings of machine tools.

They are mainly used in machine tools, rolling mill stands, plastic calenders, grinding mills and also large gearboxes.

Single row cylindrical roller bearings are separable bearings. The rollers are guided by the two ribs of bearing rings. The bearings with cage are units comprising solid inner and outer ring together with cylindrical roller and cage assemblies. Therefore, these bearings are easy to be mounted and dismounted, especially where the load conditions are such that interference fits are required for both rings.


Single row cylindrical roller bearings are commonly used to carry radial load and, due to the line contact of the rollers and raceways, are suitable for higher radial loading capacity and good impact resistance than radial ball bearings with same dimensions, but they can ‘t accommodate axial loads.
There are several different designs. The structures are distinguished by ribs. The most popular types are the N, NU, NJ, NF.
N design
—The inner ring of this type has two ribs and outer ring without rib. The bearings are commonly used as non-locating bearings.
NU design
—The outer ring of this type has two ribs and inner ring without rib. The bearings are commonly used as non-locating bearings.
NJ design
—The outer ring of this type has two ribs and inner ring with one rib. The bearings are suitable for the axial locations of the shaft in one direction.
NF design
—The inner ring of this type has two ribs and outer ring with one rib. The bearings can be used as locating bearings, they can accommodate axial loads in both directions.

The deep groove ball bearing is a kind of rolling bearing with most representatives, and it has features of small friction coefficient, high limiting speeds, simple structure, low cost, and high manufacturing precision. It has various sizes and structures, and is used in precision instruments, low noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles and general machinery industries, and a kind of bearing with most applications in the machinery industry. The bearing can bear mainly the radial load, but also can bear a certain axial load.
With larger radial clearance, the axial carrying load can be increased. When it only bears the radial load, the contact angle should be zero; when it bears an axial load, the contact angle should be greater than zero. A stamped ribbon cage is commonly machined as the solid cage; sometimes the nylon cage can also be used.
After the deep groove ball bearing is mounted on the shaft, within the axial clearance of the bearing, the axial displacement of the shaft or the housing in both directions can be limited, so it can be used for axial positioning in both directions. In addition, the bearing has also some self-aligning capability; when it is tilted to 2′ ~ 10′ corresponding to the housing, it still can be operated normally, but there may be a certain influence on the bearing life. The deep groove ball bearing cage is commonly the stamped steel ribbon shape, and the machined metal solid cage is also used for large bearing.
The deep groove ball bearing is the most commonly used rolling bearing. It has simple structure and is easy to use. It is mainly used to bear the radial load; when the radial clearance of bearing is increased, it will show a certain performances of the angular contact ball bearing and can withstand radial and axial integrated load. When the speed it too high and the thrust ball bearing can not be used, it can also bear only the axial load. Compared with other types of bearings with the same sizes, it has small friction coefficient and a high limiting speeds, but it can not bear the impact and is not suitable to bear a big load.

Bearings for vibrating screens are widely used in the mining vibrating
equipments, vibrating machinery and vibrating motors, and it is the key
part for these equipments. Many of these applications involve adverse
environmental conditions such as contamination and moisture.

For machines with inherent eccentric motion for the vibrating screens,
CHG developed the range of strong and robust spherical roller bearins
for vibratory applications. The bearing are available in the 223 series
with cylindrical or tapered bore for 45-190mm shafting.

The rolling bearings applied for these machines must support not only
high loads and high speed but also accelerations and centrfugal forces.

The rotating imbalance generates rotating shaft deflection and additional
sliding motion within the bearings. This increases the friction and
therefore the operating temperature the friction and  therefore the
operating temperature of the bearings.

The vibrating screen series provided by CHG has the benefits of:

1.Reduced maintenance costs.
2.Extended operating life.
3.High dynamic & static load ratings.
4.High speed performance & low operating temperature raise.
5.Dampened vibration.

Cylindrical roller bearings features& applications

Based on different configuration of the flanges, there are types as follows:
Single-row cylindrical roller bearings: N,NU,NJ,NF,NUP
Single-row full complement cylindrical roller bearings:NCF,NJG

Cylindrical roller bearings with cage are units comprising solid inner and
outer rings together with cylindrical rollers and cage assemblies. The bearings
 can be taken apart and can therefore be fitted and dismantled more easily.
Because the linear contact are presented between the raceways of rings and
rollers, it can relieve the edge stress, as a result, this bearing type has
a large radial load and shocking load capacity. Cylindrical roller bearings
have low friction, little rotation resistance and is often used in high-speed
applications.

Cylindrical roller bearings are mainly used for big and middle size motors,
generators, motor vehicles, machine tool spindles, combustion engines,
generators, gas turbines, speed reducer, rolling mill, construction machinery,
large agricultural machinery, hoisting&conveying machinery.

Full complement cylindrical roller bearings incorporate the largest possible
number of rollers, they are suitable for very heavy radial loads and are space-
saving at the same time, However, due to the higher friction between the rollers,
 the maximum rotational speed of full complement cylindrical roller bearings is
significantly lower than of caged cylindrical roller bearings. single row full
complement cylindrical roller bearings consist of the NCFand NJG designs.

Bearing anti-corrosion and anti-rust

Usually most important bearing material is GCr15. However, some special
application needs anti-rust and anti-corrosion. There are two methods to
reach the purpose usually. Let us give you an example for CYR 3/4 S Roller
Followers, because these bearings are widely used in the aircraft and they
have a spherical requirement for anti-corrosion.

A: All the bearing parts are stainless steel, including the inner ring,
outer ring, cage and needle roller. Material for inner ring, outer ring
and needle roller will be 440C and hardness will be between 58 and 62 HRC.
While cage is no heat treatment and with primary color.

B: Special coating treatment. Needle rollers are still stainless steel,
while inner ring, outer ring and cage will have Cr coating to reach anti-
rust and anti-corrosion performance.

B will have higher cost performance, while A’s anti-corrosion performance
will be more longer and better.
